This website is dedicated to my mother, Florence (“Shorts”) Jeanette Thompson Arnold, who always believed in art in all of its forms.
I want to thank my family and friends for their support. My husband and three boys add humor and perspective to each day. My cousin, Tia, provides essential critique for the work and valued friendship for life. Thanks to my brothers and their families, my father and his wife, Shelley and Brian Vetter, Marion and Matt Foxall, Brenda and Bruce Maclean, Meghan Macleod and Sean Hanley, Kim and Andrew Allan, Annie and Alan, Penny and Evelyn, Nancy, the “garden girls”, and numerous others who are friends and colleagues in life and art. Thank-you to master craftsmen, Ian and Jim Thomson, who build and frame my stretchers.
Thank-you to Deanna and ArtWorks Gallery for their enduring support in Vancouver, Heather and the Effusion Gallery for tapping into the Columbia River/Rockies market, and to Penny at the White Dog Gallery for an exciting launch in the Whistler area. Finally, “Brava” to Pamela Rounis for her expertise and time in putting this website together.
